Travel Health Insurance
Travel insurance meeting mission requirements and travel duration; confirm required coverage at your application location.
Flight Reservation
Round-trip reservation (no need to purchase the ticket)
Proof of Accommodation
Hotel reservation or full accommodation address in Türkiye
Bank Statements
Evidence of financial means and bank records meeting visa requirements; confirm the amount and period requested.

Do Afghan citizens need a Türkiye visa?

Afghan ordinary passport holders need a visa to travel to Türkiye. Confirm your passport type, travel purpose and personal circumstances against current MFA guidance.

Can I apply for a Turkish e-Visa?

Select Afghanistan and your travel document on evisa.gov.tr to check current eligibility. The e-Visa is only for tourism or commerce; work and study require an embassy or consulate application.

How do work visas, study visas and residence permits differ?

Work and study need the appropriate visa route. Working in Türkiye requires a work permit. A residence permit concerns staying beyond the period allowed by a visa and is separate from the visa; a tourist visa is not permission to work.

How are documents, fees and processing times determined?

Documents and official fees depend on the travel purpose and application location; processing times and visa issuance are not guaranteed. Confirm current lists and fees with official authorities.
